(Dr. Jack Butler) Seamus has been living and working in Los Angeles for
ten years. The son of a drama teacher, he holds MFAs from both The
Moscow Art Theatre and Carnegie-Mellon University. Seamus is a veteran
of over 50 plays. Most recently, he was in the premiere of iWitness at the
Mark Taper Forum. Seamus was in the West Coast premiere of Pera
Palas with the Antaeus Company at the Theatre@Boston Court, which was
nominated for Best Ensemble Awards by the Ovations and LA Weekly and
won a Backstage West Garland and an LADCC award. He played the
lead in the LA premiere of A Clockwork Orange at The Greenway Court
Theatre and won a Backstage West Garland Award and was nominated
for LA’s Ovation Award and a LADCC Award. Seamus' recent television
work includes General Hospital; CSI: Miami; Close to Home; Navy NCIS,
CSI: New York; CSI; Charmed, JAG, and Cold Case. Upcoming film work
includes the independent release Ready or Not, directed by Sean Doyle.
He is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio and The Antaeus Company.
